for the Speed Coaching Event
Wednesday, January 31, 2018
4:00-7:00 PM
Cumberland Club, 116 High Street, Portland

The Speed Coaching Event will pair panels of our members with women entrepreneurs and leaders seeking help with specific business or professional opportunities or challenges.

Each presenter will share information about her entrepreneurial or leadership issue with a panel of 3-5 of our members. Panelists will then offer feedback and advice to the presenter and brainstorm ideas and solutions with her. The event will consist of four 30-minute rounds from 4 to 6 pm and conclude with a happy hour (hors d'oeuvres and cash bar) from 6 to 7 pm. There is no charge for this event.

If you are a Women Standing Together member who welcomes the opportunity to share your expertise in a more intimate setting than our roundtable luncheons generally allow, then we encourage you to sign up to be a panelist. You should be enthusiastic about participating on a 3-5 person panel and offering objective, specific, and actionable feedback to four different presenters.

Please note that becoming a panelist is on a first come, first served basis. The first 20 people who register will become panelists.

Information for Presenters:

If you are a woman entrepreneur or leader with an amazing opportunity or a challenge and would like to brainstorm options and solutions with a panel of experienced women business entrepreneurs and leaders, then we encourage you to submit an application to become a presenter at this event. You don't need to be a member of Women Standing Together to be considered, but of course you can be. We are looking for businesswomen who are growth-focused; bold, joyful, and full of gumption; hungry for and open to receiving feedback; innovative and focused; and with a clear vision and business model.

If this sounds like you, you need to do two things:

1. Click on this link to register.  Please note that becoming a presenter is on a first come, first served basis. The first 16 people who register and fill out the information form (see below) will become presenters.

2.  We ask that you submit information about your business ahead of time so that the panelists can familiarize themselves with your business.  Here is the link to submit that information.
